Windibri Water Treatment Plant

The Windibri Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is owned and operated by Queensland Gas Corporation (QGC), a British Gas (BG) Company and is located in the Surat Basin in Queensland, Australia. The WTP processes 6 million litres of coal seam gas waste water per day using membrane-filtration, ion exchange and reverse osmosis technology.

Process Flow (formerly Peat NZ Ltd) worked as a sub-contractor to Laing O'Rourke for the project; and were lead designers for the project. We completed the following activities:

  • Detailed process design incorporating specialist process equipment

  • Civil and Structural Design

  • Controls and Instrumentation Design

  • Electrical Design

  • Completions & Commissioning Support

  • Operations & Maintenance Support
