Prior to the upgrades, treatment consisted of bore extraction and chlorine dosing only. The upgrade works included the design, procurement and installation of UV disinfection and filtration for both sites. The scope included the supply of four modular water treatment plant buildings. The buildings house the UV and Filtration equipment and were fully assembled and pre-commissioned offsite. Now commissioned both plants provide safe and reliable drinking water to the Wakefield and Brightwater communities.</image:caption>
